NOTEWORTHY

In 1977, while on his way to his hotel in Madison, Wisconsin, Elvis Presley spots an altercation between a couple of young men and a gas station attendant. He has his limousine driver pull over, gets out of the car, and strikes a karate pose, stating “I’ll take you on!” When the three men see who the interloper is, they immediately forget about their fight and ask for pictures and autographs.

In 2012, Billboard named “Physical” by Olivia Newton-John the Sexiest Song of All Time. Other songs to make the top five included “Tonight’s the Night” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” by Rod Stewart, “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer, and “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye.
